This is way too much dress for the event. Generally, grandiose gowns aren't worn at L.A. premieres for action movies. This is more of an awards ceremony dress. Maybe she didn't get any invites during awards season and she's been dying to wear this. To be fair, it's a pretty fabulous dress. We're not totally in love with the shoulder treatment, though. The jewelry - namely, that thing on her neck - is painfully wrong for this look. A dress with this much going on required more classic, possibly low-key jewelry. And besides, we don't think gold was the way to go here. And finally, we're not loving the Charlie's Angels hair, especially with that shoulder. A gown with volume up or near the neck pretty much requires an up 'do. It's a shame; she looks pretty, and as we said, we really like the dress, but the details are all wrong and the entire look is too much for the event. We'll have to call this one an OUT.
