Reading Shelley O

Fashion is fundamental too.

Let's check out what FLOTUS wears when she's getting her Seuss on.

Oh.

Is it, like, a Whoville thing?

We love the skirt - and we once again love that we have a First Lady who wears Marc Jacobs now and then - although we're not convinced all that fullness and pleating is the best choice for her. Still, we love the color. It's really the top that has us cringing. We're trying, but we can't really say this goes. Besides, it - dare we say it - looks a little downscale to be paired with a Marc Jacobs skirt. We're all for pairing cheaper pieces with more expensive ones and letting them play off each other, but she literally looks like she's trying the skirt on in a dressing room. The top's just not working for us at all.

Let's check Seuss #2:

We LOVE this dress on her. We're always telling her to stick to the sheath dresses, but something about the looseness and drape with this one really looks great on her. And she FINALLY found the right skirt for those fab suede boots she keeps insisting on. Definitely the better of the two outfits.
